Frequently Asked Questions
How is my lot size calculated?
The app uses the formula: Lots = Risk Amount ÷ (Stop Loss Points × Point Value Per Lot). Your risk amount is your account balance multiplied by your chosen risk percentage. FX conversion is applied automatically when your account currency differs from the instrument's profit currency.
Which instruments are supported?
NAS100 (Nasdaq 100), SPX500 (S&P 500), and GER40 (DAX 40). Each uses standard MT5 CFD contract specifications with a contract size of 1 and minimum volume of 0.01 lots.
My broker uses a different contract size. What do I do?
Open the Contract Specifications card at the bottom of the calculator and enable "Override contract size". You can find your broker's contract size in MT5 by right-clicking the symbol → Specification → Contract size.
Why does the entry price differ slightly from my broker?
Live prices are fetched from public market data feeds which may differ slightly from your broker's CFD quotes, especially outside official exchange hours. You can always type your exact entry price manually — the calculation updates instantly.
How do account profiles work?
Tap the profile bar at the top of the calculator to create and switch between multiple accounts — for example a prop firm challenge and a personal account. Each profile stores its own balance, currency, and default instrument. All data is saved locally on your device.
Is my data private?
Yes. The app collects no personal data whatsoever. Everything you enter stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
